The Buddha: Calm like the earth, steady like a column, pure like a lake

Online Sangha retreat - Friday 28th-Sunday 30th May

Led by Kusaladevi, Aryavacin, Khemasiri and team

A sangha weekend retreat celebrating the qualities of the Buddha, who was calm like the earth, steady like a column, pure like a lake. It will include meditation, mantra, stories and talks.

The weekend also includes mitra ceremonies, a ritual to welcome people committing to be mitras (friends) to the sangha. You can also join just for this part of the event so we hope there will be lots of us there to celebrate them taking the next step as well as all the good qualities they bring.

The retreat starts with a welcome Friday evening 7.30 pm and finishes Sunday 12.45 pm. The timetable for the weekend can be found below.

This retreat runs on the basis of dana (generosity), like all our events, please register for the event and donate here or using the button below. We recommend a donation of £80 for this weekend but as always just give what you can.

If you’re unable to make a donation please email us at info@nottinghambuddhistcentre.org.
