How To Find Us

The Nottingham Buddhist Centre is at 9 St Mary’s Place, Nottingham NG1 1PH, next to the new Lace Market Square (between the Lace Market tram stop and the New College Nottingham Adams Building). The map below shows our location.

Please also feel free to contact us.

On Foot:

St Mary’s Place can be accessed via the pedestrianised Adams Walk leading to Lace Market Square (at the junction of Fletcher Gate and Warser Gate, by the tram stop) or from St Mary’s Gate, by the rear entrance to the Adams Building.

By Car:

The nearest (paid) car parks are Fletcher Gate and Stoney Street. On-street (metered) parking is available on some streets in the lace market. On-street parking is free from 8.00pm - check the information on the meters.

By Coach:

Many streets in the Lace Market area are unsuitable for coaches. A drop-off/pick-up point is located opposite the bowling alley on the A60 Belward Street, on the left following the junction with Barker Gate. Passengers should then walk to the Buddhist Centre via Barker Gate, Stoney Street, Broadway, St Mary’s Gate – approx 5 minutes on foot.

Access to the Buddhist Centre:

Public access is by the partly glazed double doors (under the hanging sign) – on the right as you face the building. If you have not arranged a visit, please check the website or telephone for opening times.
