Finding Freedom:Men’s Event
Sunday 21st June 2026 | NOTE: New start time 10:30 am - 13:00 pm
Open to men who have completed a course and are familiar with how we practice.
We’d love for you to join us on June 21st at 10.30 am, as we gather for the second installment of our year-long journey through the Four Noble Truths.
In January's session, we explored the reality of Dukkha. This time, we’re diving into the "why" behind it all with a talk titled:
The Second Noble Truth: Why We Crave What Makes Us Miserable!
It’s a big topic, but we’ll be exploring it together in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether you’re a long-time practitioner or new to the Sangha please come along and explore this teaching together in a spirit of curiosity and friendship.
You can expect a period of Meditation, Dharma input and of course time for discussion.
It is a great chance to catch up with friends (and make some new ones) within the Sangha.
Our goal is to leave you with a little more clarity and a lot more connection. We really value the perspective you bring to these events , and it wouldn’t be the same without you.
We’re looking forward to seeing you there and sharing a great morning together
Booking:
We run everything at the Nottingham Buddhist Centre on a donation basis - we want our events to be available to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. We ask for a donation at the time of booking if possible, as we’re completely reliant on your generous donations to keep our doors open to all.
We’d suggest a donation of £20/£16/£14 - or whatever amount you can and would enjoy giving.
If you are unable to give even a very small amount, you are still very welcome. Please email info@nottinghambuddhistcentre.org and we'll book you on.
(Please note: any donation made is a donation to the centre and not payment for an event. If for some reason you can’t make the event, you’re warmly welcome to join any other suitable event)
