At the Nottingham Buddhist Centre we believe that the Buddha’s teachings are for everyone. We also believe that wisdom and compassion are inseparable and that developing loving-kindness towards all living beings is vital to growing spiritually. For all those reasons we take diversity and inclusion seriously and we recognise that we’re not perfect.

We are exploring how best we can make our centre and classes more accessible and welcoming for all of Nottingham’s communities. We want everyone to feel welcome and included and we want to remove any barriers there might be to attending classes here.

If you have any feedback for us, or you’d like to support this in any way we’d love to hear from you. You can email us at: diversity@nottinghambuddhistcentre.org

If you are a person of colour interested in what we do at the centre you can find out more about our PoC group here.
