Women’s gathering:
Creation of a buddha field
Sunday 24th May (10 am - 3 pm)
For women who have completed a course and are familiar with how we practice.
Sunday 24th of May (10am - 3pm) with Upekshanandi & Sandy.
Join us for a special day of connection, practice, and community. Together we will create a Buddha Field — a space of kindness, wisdom, creativity, and presence — by coming together with shared intention.
This gathering is an opportunity to meet together, practice together, and evoke the qualities of the Buddha in ourselves and each other. Discover your inner Buddha through imagination, intuition, and working with clay in a creative workshop led by Sandy.
The day will include meditation and a gently held ritual context throughout. We will close the gathering with Buddha Puja and the chanting of mantras.
There will also be time to share lunch (bring vegan food to share) and to enjoy relaxed company throughout the day.
HOW TO BOOK
We run everything at the Nottingham Buddhist Centre on a donation basis - we want our events to be available to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. We ask for a donation at the time of booking if possible, as we’re completely reliant on your generous donations to keep our doors open to all.
We’d suggest a donation of £40/£30/£20 - or whatever amount you can and would enjoy giving.
If you are unable to give even a very small amount, you are still very welcome. Please email info@nottinghambuddhistcentre.org and we'll book you on.
(Please note: any donation made is a donation to the centre and not payment for an event. If for some reason you can’t make the event, you’re warmly welcome to join any other suitable event)
