compassion, courage & Clarity:
a padmasambhava retreat day

Sunday 5th July 2026 (10am - 4pm)

Open to all who have completed a course and are familiar with how we practice

Join Kusaladevi and Shuddhanara for a day retreat at the Nottingham Buddhist Centre exploring the inspiring figure of Padmasambhava.

Known as the great tantric master who helped establish Buddhism in Tibet in the 8th century, Padmasambhava is a powerful symbol of fearless compassion, transformation, and awakened wisdom. His life and teachings continue to inspire practitioners to meet the challenges of life with courage, clarity, and an open heart.

Both Kusaladevi and Shuddhanara have a deep personal connection with Padmasambhava, having received the Padmasambhava Sadhana practice during their ordination retreats.

Through meditation, ritual, talks, reflection, and sangha, this retreat day offers an opportunity to enter the rich symbolic world of Padmasambhava and connect more deeply with the compassionate wisdom at the heart of the Dharma.

HOW TO BOOK

We run everything at the Nottingham Buddhist Centre on a donation basis - we want our events to be available to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. We ask for a donation at the time of booking if possible, as we’re completely reliant on your generous donations to keep our doors open to all.

We’d suggest a donation of £58/£48/£38 - or whatever amount you can and would enjoy giving.

If you are unable to give even a very small amount, you are still very welcome. Please email info@nottinghambuddhistcentre.org and we'll book you on.

(Please note: any donation made is a donation to the centre and not payment for an event. If for some reason you can’t make the event, you’re warmly welcome to join any other suitable event)
