Finding Peace in a Turbulent World - Week 4
This week we practised the Metta Bhavana meditation and began to explore the natural ethics of Buddhism. The five precepts that Buddhists practise all around the world can be found in the "Refuges and Precepts" which we regularly chant in Pali and English.
The home practice for this week is:
1) Alternate practising the Metta Bhavana and the Mindfulness of Breathing for 10-15 minutes each day.
2) Notice when you find yourself following Buddhist precepts and when you don't. Don't blame yourself or give yourself a hard time, just notice what happens when you do each.
