Meditation Morning: Samadhi
14th March (10am - 1pm)

Saturday 14th march (10 am - 1 pm)

This event is for those who have completed a course and are familiar with how we practice.

Come and join Upekshanandi and Khemasiri for a morning of meditation, exploring samadhi.

In Buddhism, samadhi refers to deep concentration or meditative absorption, a central practice for cultivation clarity, insight, and ultimately liberation. Samadhi is one of the factors of awakening. It is also part of the Noble Eightfold Path under Right Concentration and is essential for calming the mind and realising enlightenment.

Guided by experienced teachers, you will explore a variety of approaches to enhance your meditation. This session offers a supportive space to breathe inspiration into your sits and incorporate the wisdom of the Buddha’s teachings.

HOW TO BOOK
We run everything at the Nottingham Buddhist Centre on a donation basis - we want our events to be available to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. We ask for a donation at the time of booking if possible, as we’re completely reliant on your generous donations to keep our doors open to all.

We’d suggest a donation of £30/£24/£18 - or whatever amount you can and would enjoy giving.

If you are unable to give even a very small amount, you are still very welcome. Please email info@nottinghambuddhistcentre.org and we'll book you on.

(Please note: any donation made is a donation to the centre and not payment for an event. If for some reason you can’t make the event, you’re warmly welcome to join any other suitable event)
