Men’s Event: The Third Noble Truth
With Special Guest Order Member Vajragupta

Sunday 20th September 2026 | 10:30 am - 13:00 pm
With special guest Order Member Vajragupta

Open to men who have completed a course and are familiar with how we practice.

We are delighted to continue our journey through the Noble Truths together. On Sunday 20th  September at 10.30 am, we are especially fortunate to welcome Vajragupta, an experienced Order Member, Chair of Croydon, and author of several popular Dharma books.

This promises to be a valuable and inspiring event, offering fresh insights and an opportunity to deepen your understanding and practice alongside others.

We warmly encourage you to take advantage of this special occasion and book your space early to avoid disappointment!

The Third Noble Truth of the Buddha is that the cessation of craving leads to the cessation of suffering. Or, putting it another way, craving and suffering can come to a complete end, and that’s what Buddhists call Nirvana.

Do we really believe this? Can there really be a state of no craving and no suffering? Is that really possible for us, or is it just a spiritual fantasy?

During this morning on the Third Noble Truth we’ll explore how living the Buddhist life helps us to really see and experience the truth of this teaching

Booking:

We run everything at the Nottingham Buddhist Centre on a donation basis - we want our events to be available to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. We ask for a donation at the time of booking if possible, as we’re completely reliant on your generous donations to keep our doors open to all.

We’d suggest a donation of £20/£16/£14 - or whatever amount you can and would enjoy giving.

If you are unable to give even a very small amount, you are still very welcome. Please email info@nottinghambuddhistcentre.org and we'll book you on.

(Please note: any donation made is a donation to the centre and not payment for an event. If for some reason you can’t make the event, you’re warmly welcome to join any other suitable event)
