Men’s Morning at the Nottingham Buddhist Centre
With Special Guest Ratnaghosha
Sunday 18th May | 11:00 am - 13:00 pm - with Ratnaghosha
Open to men who have completed an introductory course and are familiar with how we practice.
This Sunday, we welcome Ratnaghosha, the President of the Nottingham Buddhist Centre and a deeply respected Order member, ordained for over 40 years. Renowned for his depth, clarity, and long-standing commitment to the Dharma, Ratnaghosha will be joining us fresh from a four-month solitary retreat.
He’ll be sharing reflections on the Samannaphala Sutta—the Buddha’s powerful vision of the fruits of the spiritual life. In particular, he’ll explore how we can begin to transform our minds through the profound and practical teaching of guarding the gates of the senses.
How do we protect the mind from distraction and distortion? What does it really mean to live with spiritual integrity in the modern world? This is a precious opportunity to hear from someone who has gone deeply into these questions in silence, solitude, and spiritual practice.
Come and be inspired. Connect with other men. Let’s explore together what it means to live a life that bears real spiritual fruit.
