Saturday 21st November | 11am - 5pm (invitation for Order Members & GFR Mitras to join at 10am for a session led by Paraga & Khemasiri)

This event is for those who have completed a course and are familiar with how we practice.

Please note:
The doors open at 9.45am for a 10am session for Order Members and Mitras training for Ordination only. This part of the programme is not open to the wider Sangha. Doors will open at 11am for everyone attending the Sangha Day Festival.

We will be having a shared lunch, so please bring vegan food to contribute.

Join us for this special festival day celebrating the Sangha, our spiritual community. Sangha Day is an annual celebration in which we come together in friendship, practice and gratitude for the community of practitioners who walk the Buddhist path alongside us.

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the joy and strength of the Sangha through ritual, meditation, talks, and gathering together. We are also delighted to be celebrating two Mitra ceremonies for Ciara and Taylor during the day!

Mitra ceremonies are a significant milestone within the Triratna Buddhist Community, marking the moment when someone publicly commits themselves to the Three Jewels and undertakes the Five Ethical Precepts. These are joyful occasions both for the Mitras and the Sangha, come along to support Ciara and Taylor as they take this important step in their spiritual life.

Traditionally, gifts are given to Mitras, if you would like to offer a gift, you are welcome to purchase one from our shop or bring your own.
