Sangha Day Festival
saturday 16th November 10am - 4.30pm
Saturday 16th November 10am - 4.30pm
Join us for the Sangha Day Festival at the Nottingham Buddhist Centre, our annual celebration of spiritual community! The Sangha has been a vital part of the Buddhist path since the Buddha first shared the Dharma with his friends, and together we rejoice in this lineage of practice and friendship.
On this special day, we will explore the joy of spiritual friendship and celebrate the deep connections that support our practice. The day will also feature several Mitra Ceremonies, marking a significant step for those committing to Buddhist practice by following the five precepts and joining the Triratna community.
Come along to support and celebrate those making this meaningful commitment in their spiritual journeys!
We will share a meal together, so please bring some vegan food to contribute. It's also traditional to give gifts to the new mitras; feel free to bring a gift, or visit our gift shop for ideas.
