Discover the Path of the Yogi:
A Milarepa Sangha Weekend at Adhisthana

Friday 20th (18:00) - Sunday 22nd (15:00) September 2024

A retreat for people who have been through an
introductory course and are familiar with how we practice.

Come along and join Jnanaruchi and Kusaladevi for this Sangha retreat in September where we will be exploring the life and practice of one of the most determined of Buddhist practitioners, Milarepa. Milarepa was an 11th century yogi who was uncompromising in his following of the spiritual life. He gained full realisation, had many friends and has influenced the Buddhist tradition ever since.

We’ll be gaining inspiration from his life as we engage in meditation, discussion and ritual to bring more aliveness, depth and dedication to our spiritual life. There will also be silence, friendship and time to spend in Adhisthana’s beautiful gardens relaxing.

This is our annual residential retreat at Adhisthana, one of the principle retreat venues in Triratna, situated near the beautiful Malvern hills. We will share and arrange lifts/travel together closer to the time.

This retreat runs on the basis of dana (generosity), like all our events, you can book and donate here or using the button below. As a guide we recommend the following amounts for donations: £160, £120, £80. If you’re unable to make a donation please email us at info@nottinghambuddhistcentre.org or use the bottom button.
