Roll up, roll up! It’s time for one of the most joyful events of the year—our Skills Auction! Expect excitement, laughter, friendly competition and a wonderful array of imaginative offerings from across the Sangha.

Fancy bidding on a bread-making class? A handmade cushion? An afternoon photography walk? Who knows what will appear—half the fun is discovering it! In previous years, people have appreciated not only the skills they received, but the time spent together: learning, creating, and deepening friendships. Bring your family, enjoy tea and cake, and soak up the buzz as the bidding begins.

What can you offer?
Absolutely anything! Practical, artistic, quirky or simply fun. From composting workshops to crochet creations, guided walks to home-baked delights—the sky really is the limit. Multiple offers are very welcome, and group workshops were a big hit in previous years. If you’re unsure what to offer, chat to someone who’s taken part before—everyone has a skill to share!

The Skills Auction is a wonderful collection of talents and treasures. You gain a new experience, strengthen your connections within the sangha, and support the Centre all at once. This event is part of Giving Month, and all donations raised go towards the upkeep of our beautiful building and the dedicated team who keep everything running smoothly.
