From Dust to Dharma:
A Day of Service

Sunday 27th April 2025 (11am - 4pm)

Open to all who have completed an introductory course within Triratna.

Join us this Volunteers Day as we give back to the Nottingham Buddhist Centre, a place that has supported and transformed many lives over the past 29 years. Rooted in dana (generosity), our community has sustained this space entirely through donations, ensuring the Dharma remains accessible to all. We also rely on the dedication of volunteers whose time and energy help keep the Centre running.

On this day, we come together in gratitude—to sweep, polish, repair, and care for the building that has been a refuge for so many. There will be a range of tasks to suit different abilities, including some light-handed work, so everyone can take part in a way that feels comfortable.

We will also share a meal together, so please bring some vegan food to share. To close the day, we will gather for a ritual to rejoice in our merits, celebrating our collective effort and generosity.

No booking required, just show up! To let us know you’re coming, click the button below or email us at info@nottinghambuddhistcentre.org.
