Women’s Gathering - Mantra and Sacred Song
Saturday 12th April (10 am - 1 pm)
For women who have completed an introductory course and are familiar with how we practice.
Women’s Morning of Mantra and Sacred Song
Join us for a nourishing morning of Buddhist chanting and sacred song, led by Karunavaca. This special gathering is an invitation to connect deeply with your heart, voice, and spiritual practice in the company of like-minded women.
As Karunavaca shares: “The voice is a powerful direct line to our inner being – our heart, our imagination, our vision. It’s a wonderful vehicle for deepening devotional practice and a sense of connectedness. And you don’t have to be a ‘singer’—just bring yourself.”
Through mantra and melody, we’ll cultivate a space of reflection, renewal, and shared presence. Whether you’re new to chanting or have an established practice, this is an opportunity to strengthen friendships, deepen your journey, and experience the beauty of collective voice.
Booking: We run everything at the Nottingham Buddhist Centre on a donation basis, to donate for this event and book on. The suggested donation is £21/£16/£11, if our recommended donation is more than you can afford please give whatever you feel able to. You can always email us to request a place on the course at info@nottinghambuddhistcentre.org.
