Do Less: Padmasambhava’s Advice to the Three Fortunate Women
Sunday 6th September (10 am - 1 pm)
For women who have completed a course and are familiar with how we practice.
Join Pasannacitta for a Women’s Morning exploring the first section of Padmasambhava’s Advice to the Three Fortunate Women.
September is traditionally a time to honour Padmasambhava, the great 8th-century guru who legendarily arrived in Tibet to tame its demons. The text we’ll be exploring together is a poetic, pithy and profound teaching from the great guru – one that gently exhorts us to let go of unnecessary striving and allow peace to arise.
During our time together, we’ll listen to, reflect on, and meditate with this precious text. We’ll also have tea! Come along for what promises to be a rewarding and connecting morning – we’d love to have you there.
Please book as far ahead as you can for our events. This allows the leaders to tailor content to the size of the group!
HOW TO BOOK
We run everything at the Nottingham Buddhist Centre on a donation basis - we want our events to be available to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. We ask for a donation at the time of booking if possible, as we’re completely reliant on your generous donations to keep our doors open to all.
We’d suggest a donation of £30/£24/£18 - or whatever amount you can and would enjoy giving.
If you are unable to give even a very small amount, you are still very welcome. Please email info@nottinghambuddhistcentre.org and we'll book you on.
(Please note: any donation made is a donation to the centre and not payment for an event. If for some reason you can’t make the event, you’re warmly welcome to join any other suitable event)
