Women’s Gathering:
Entering the Realm of White Tārā
Sunday 8 November, 10am–1pm.
Led by Punyaruci, Upekshanandi and Eva
Open to all women who have completed the course.
What would it be like to slow down, become still, and settle more deeply into ourselves?
In this Women’s Gathering we will be introduced to White Tārā and her beautiful qualities of peace, stillness, compassionate awareness and vitality, and explore how we might recognise and nurture these qualities within ourselves. We’ll consider how they can support us in finding greater spaciousness and peacefulness in our everyday lives.
The morning will include meditation, ritual and gentle body awareness practices, giving us an opportunity to listen more closely to our bodies, turn our energy inwards, nourish ourselves and make space to rest.
There will be space to share reflections and inspiration with one another, and to enjoy being together as a community. We’ll explore how we can bring the qualities of White Tārā into our everyday lives, while making space for friendship, connection and celebration.
And as this is our last Women’s Gathering of the year, there will be plenty of space to celebrate too — to appreciate our journey together, enjoy friendship and community, and mark the year we’ve shared.
Come and join us for a morning of stillness, connection and celebration.
HOW TO BOOK
We run everything at the Nottingham Buddhist Centre on a donation basis - we want our events to be available to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. We ask for a donation at the time of booking if possible, as we’re completely reliant on your generous donations to keep our doors open to all.
We’d suggest a donation of £30/£24/£18 - or whatever amount you can and would enjoy giving.
If you are unable to give even a very small amount, you are still very welcome. Please email info@nottinghambuddhistcentre.org and we'll book you on.
(Please note: any donation made is a donation to the centre and not payment for an event. If for some reason you can’t make the event, you’re warmly welcome to join any other suitable event)
