Kshitigarbha - the Bodhisattva who Descends into Hell

Last year at my ordination I was given the sadhana practice of Kshitigharbha.

Kshitigharbha literally means ‘earth womb’. He is a Bodhisattva who has made the Bodhisattva Vow to release all beings from suffering, even stepping into the dark hell realms where the Dharma is hard to find.

This mantra is a way for me to connect to Kshitigarbha.
