The Work that Reconnects: Workshop

  • Nottingham Buddhist Centre 9 St Marys Place Nottingham NG1 1PH United Kingdom (map)

An experiential day workshop for Buddhists in a time of climate and ecological emergency
Facilitated by Karunavaca

Never has there been a greater need to stand up for life. Yet in the face of the climate and ecological crisis, we can find ourselves overwhelmed, despairing and helpless -- or sometimes just shut down and isolated.

The Work That Reconnects has been developed over four decades by Joanna Macy -- renowned, inspirational Buddhist scholar and environmental activist. The purpose of this work is to help people uncover and experience their innate connections with each other and within the web of life. It supports us to discover how the deep love and grief we feel for our world may enliven, empower and motivate us to play our particular parts in creating a sustainable civilization. This is vital work for our times.
Please join us for this important workshop March 5th 10am-5pm at the Buddhist Centre.

Bring vegan food for a shared lunch.

Numbers are limited, so book early! And do let us know if you need to cancel so your spot can be offered to someone else. We look forward to seeing you there.
